What should we wear? Always the first thing I am asked! The first thing I always say is to love what you are wearing, you want to look back at your photos and remember not only how awesome you look but how good you felt - don’t make anyone wear anything they absolutely don’t like or feel uncomfortable in - it will show in the photos! Neutrals tones and colours work well - I will help guide you through the whole process so you feel completely comfortable with your choices.

I absolutely love to shoot families both at home and on location - we are incredibly spoilt down here in the South West for stunning spots - I usually leave it until a few days before your session to decide and see what the weather is doing - I have lots of little spots of bush to nestle into and always love to finish off at the beach - its a beautiful way to end the day. I love to know if you have somewhere that has particular meaning to you so don’t hesitate to let me know if you have somewhere in mind. I also love to shoot families at home - this works well for newborns if you are not wanting to venture out with your little bundle just yet. These sessions are so relaxed - you don’t need to worry if you house is not perfect - I usually shoot in a couple of rooms with good light. My galleries have plenty of examples of gorgeous sessions at home - go and have a look if you haven’t seen them yet!

Full Sessions usually take around and hour or so - usually depending on how the kids go! For outdoor sessions I love to start in the bush and end at the beach - I have lots of gorgeous spots where once you get out of the car you don’t need to get back into it again until our session is finished. I like to keep my sessions relaxed and will pose you a little - it is always the image after the post has fallen apart that you will love. I find kids just love that fact that they have the people they love the most all to themselves for the time the session takes - it doesn't get much better than that for them! Newborn sessions can tend to take a little bit longer depending on how your bub is going - there is plenty of time to feed and change nappies - I don’t like to rush these sessions - the magic is in the little moments……

Life is fluid and things happen that are out of our control - if the weather is not great we will reschedule, if kids or you are sick we will reschedule.

You will receive a sneak peak of images from your session within a couple of days and within 3 weeks your will receive your gallery whereby you can download your chosen images directly and order prints and products. You are also able to upgrade your package at this point - just let me know.

When you receive your online gallery you will have the ability to order prints and products directly from there - I have partnered with one of the most incredible labs in Australia - I can help guide you through the process if you need but really it could not be easier! The hardest part is choosing what to print!
